Winston Reid - may I respectfully suggest that....
You stop turning your back when tackling/blocking

Three times in three weeks you have turned away and the Jane first goal, Kane second goal, today's wba goal and the Everton goals were a result

Ginger pele doesn't worry flinch - man up Maori

Turning back or not, it was purely bad luck the ball hit where it did. With bad luck like that, it doesn't matter if you facing up, turning your back, or spinning on your head. Winston should have just pissed on all four corner flags before kick off; that's all.

Turning ones back just does not bloody work when tackling or blocking a shot I would feel embarrassed as a professional footballer and feel like a little school girl if I did it and someone scored from a deflection.

I still have nightmares about Paul Parker turning his back on a free kick in italia 90 why do footballers not learn ?

Loved Winnies attempted pass in the last few mins.

just smashed it into the chicken run.

Like the look of him and ogbonna.

Especially when Mark Slowball is back giving the ball away 3 yards in front of them

Sign some defenders that haven't been at the club for ages.

Re: Winston Reid - may I respectfully suggest that....
Yeah. Reid played well yesterday. His passing isn't the best when it comes to taking on Alex Song like passes, but he dis more than enough to forgive trhat yesterday.

Desperately unlucky with the OG. Whoever said on another day it would go out for a corner, I agree if you mean it hadn't touched him, as it was going comfortably wide with Adrian minding the post. If it hadn't gone in, they would have screamed for a penalty, and may well have got it, going by the Liverpool penalty yesterday.

I felt some bad luck was about to happen though, because after 49 minutes of defending so well, total control, their seemed to be a 30 seconds to a minute of strange keystone cop moments taht reminded me of other times the gypsie voodoo curse has struck us.

Perhaps some credit for Lambert of linking up play a lot better than they managed first half.

Re: Winston Reid - may I respectfully suggest that....
I thought Ogbonna was decent, given he's been out for a while and is blatantly still learning how to play the English game. I think he'll turn out well for us though.

Reid undoubtedly better, at least at this point in time. I think we;d have lost the match without him yesterday.

Reid done a good job yesterday.

If you don't think he did, you are just a silly person. It's as simple as that.

Ogbonna worries me though.
